JOB DISCRIPTION: A Habilitation Technician is an individual that provided one on one care for a child, adolescent, or an adult with developmental or physical disabilities. They accomplish this by working with the client in their home or in the community. Each Habilitation Technician addresses specific goals from a treatment plan of care specifically written for that individual. Each Habilitation Technician works on an hourly basis and provides written documentation of their attempts/success running each goal. HB technicians have the opportunity to assist people in accomplishing their dreams.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: A Habilitation Technician is required to possess a high school diploma or equivalency, a clean criminal record, and a state driver’s license. After an individual has been identified, they are required to receive appropriate training and certification.
